Also, my poor mother has osteoporosis. She says she's doing okay (for values of "okay" that equate with being nearly-ninety), but she's lost three or four inches in height. And she was teeny-tiny to start with, a sweet five-footer. Eek! The Incredible Shrinking Mother...
