Update
Is okay. The worriers amongst you may stop worrying (and attend to the far more interesting pursuit of wondering why I have no trouble with "amongst", when I hate "whilst" with a passion).
I have spoken to a medically-qualified person, who is of opinion that there is a mild bug around and I probably have it. The notion "con-crud" is to the fore. I am to eat yoghurt, drink water and idle my life away with sossidge-filled snugglefluffs. Oh, okay, then.
And yes, I still intend to be fit by Friday.
