The cats'-meat man
Is it an act of sheer folly, do you suppose, that I fry the cats' meat in olive oil?
Hey, it's only ox-heart. It's not like I'm extravagant. But I thought I'd better cook it off, rather than letting them feast raw; and I just instinctively reached for the olive oil. By the time I thought "Oh", it was too late...
In other news: this now, this is genuinely absurd. There is only one room it can reasonably be in, and the thing is not small and still in its box: but I absolutely cannot find my posh non-stick pudding basin. I haven't so much searched that room as scoured it, top to toe and time and time again. Cannot find the thing. And I broke my old glass bowl that I'd made a generation's worth of Xmas puddings in, so this one is boiling in improvised plastic. *sighs*
