Hmm? Today's shopping? Oh...
Today's shopping was a proper Sumo laptop sleeve for the LHP: rugged outerwear, soft corduroy innerware, much padding betwixt and a velcro fastening rather than a nasty scratchy zip. The little sweetheart had earned its protection & comfort, after writing four pages of ghost story for this summer's Phantoms project over the last two days despite my altogether gloom & despondency.
Oddly, despite my evident current predilection for shopping, on both of these same two days I have entirely forgotten to buy the envelopes I need to complete my tax return. Maybe my subconscious is in sabotage-mode again, for as long as the tax return remains unposted I don't have to commit to any other serious work, I can just poke at things in a casual manner because I'm Doing My Taxes and that's work enough for anyone. The fact that the taxes were more or less completed over the weekend, and all I need now is half a dozen envelopes to stuff receipts into - pfft. I'm still Doing My Taxes.
