I've started, so I'll finish

I am such a fool.

I am just baking the third iteration of a loaf from my sourdough starter. It's been getting increasingly sour, and increasingly tasty. This time I departed the original recipe, used a lot of rye in the mix and a lot of olive oil, it has a different texture and is looking just lovely in the oven - and I just realised, I forgot to rip off a piece of the raw dough and keep it in the fridge for next time.

Back to square one. Rats.

Also, I washed my oven gauntlets this afternoon. Damp gauntlets and hot oven shelves? Equals steamy fingers. Ouch.
