Four tom waits

Three john barnes

Two short stories

...and a horror in an astronomy.

Besides- he is only appropriate for women- Tom Waits for no man and all that....

I just tried it a few minutes ago, and I don't think I'm going to post it. I don't have any "interests" listed, so it used names from my friends list (mutual or not).

There were nine desperances. And they were dancing.

Stately and together, I hope? One of those formal dances, which make elegant patterns - only slightly out of true, on account of an odd number dancing. I like that.

But it is wise not to post things that use other people's names. I lost a friend that way.

Well, this story I'm fighting with at the moment would qualify, being a ghost story - which is at least a near neighbour to horror - and focused on an orrery, which is definitely astronomy. But I'm not going to call it that, sorry; I prefer "The House of Mechanical Pain". Weird, but there you go.
