desperanceThis morning, I may have cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom too.
It is not impossible that I began adding rum to my coffee before noon.
This afternoon it is almost beyond question that I was in the kitchen making sandwiches. About five dozen, I believe.
Rumour has it that there is a bottle of wine which was undrunk before, and quite drunk after. A bottle, I say: not I.
Meanwhile there was a baby-shower going on out in the yard and the clubhouse, with balloons and cupcakes and prizes and all sorts. This-all is alien to my understanding, so I mostly stayed in the kitchen.
And now everyone is gone and the cats are released from AlCatRaz and m'wife and I are contentedly alone. And I've just baked fresh bread, because hullo.
