I may have mentioned before, that Mac has a devious way with eggs?

Leave a box out anywhere on any flat surface - as, f'rexample, I did myself last night, having put it temporarily in the very centre of the dining-table and then forgotten about it - and he will nudge it deviously to the edge and watch it fall, in hopes of broken eggy goodness.

He scored two out of six of my lovely free-range organic eggs. And two more cracked, which is why I had an omelette for lunch.

I'm sorry, when did I indent for a clever cat? I'm just not used to this...

I feel your pain. We can only hope that when the uprising comes, our new masters will be merciful.

"Mercy? Pffft! We were hungry, and you fed us not! For hours! We were playful, and you only swore and rolled over in the bed! We are the grudgemeisters, and mercy is for the weak!" Etc. I hold out little hope.

Many of them already grow extra toes. Thumbs are on the way. We're doomed.

Perhaps they will have fond memories of the sossidges? Mind you, mine's been to the vet again today, for injections, so I suspect that when the revolution comes I'll be first against the wall.

Ha. Haha. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
She laughed hollowly.

(Why yes, The Dread Pirate Roberts has been proving an apt pupil to Black-thumbed Jemmy Casey, Pirate Cate of the Cumberland. One or the other of them can now open the oven door.)

We are plagued by clever cats, and the worst (or best) is that they teach each other. Many of the Late, Great Caspian's achievements and inventions are still in use, as he taught Moon and she taught the new boys...
Opening cupboards, however, is one Horus did all by himself.
