Okay. This morning I have:
cleared the outside drain, in case that was causing a blockback (it did once get so clotted up that the bath wouldn't drain at all);
filled the bath, and drained it;
checked that water was in fact flowing out, because it really barely shows;
wondered if perhaps it's always been this slow, just that it used to gurgle a lot and sound busier, and now it is entirely silent;
stood in the kitchen and waited for drips;
observed dripping;
cursed and muttered;
fetched Loathsome Screwdriver and approached the end-panel that Malcolm fixed yesterday;
removed necessary screws, and hence panel;
reached about under bath to find damp patch, and thus identify leaky joint.
Yup, done all that. Before coffee, yet.
What I haven't done?
Contact Simon, in pursuit of plumber. *sigh*
