Would phone Simon (who is used to dealing with said plumber, and whose voice might betoken more authority), but he's in Cambridge and of course I don't want to bother him on a weekend away. Oddly, he will probably be hangin' out with another Brenchley: a Jonathan of that ilk, who is the only other Brenchley I have ever met incidentally, outside of a deliberate family gathering.
