In Reuben-related news, here's a thing: I don't want uniformity in my recipes, but a little consistency, people? Take, f'rexample, Russian dressing. Variations, of course, are more than desirable, but some kind of core notion would be good. I looked at half a dozen recipes, and basically they share nothing but the name. Mayo, or no mayo? Ketchup, or no ketchup? Chilli sauce or not? Horseradish, or not? Etc, etc. If you can change all the base ingredients, I'm not really sure you have a dish...
