desperanceThe Chesley Awards are given annually for science fiction & fantasy artwork, including book covers. Only members of the Association of Science Fiction & Fantasy Artists can nominate and vote.
The committee has just produced its regular award suggestions page, a guide to some of what's been good in the last year; and right there in the "paperback" category? Is Robert Hunt's illustration for Jade Man's Skin. I'm really pleased, and delighted for him.
Oh, and m'good friend Vinny Chong is on the list too. And a whole host of other majorly talented authors and lovely pix.
