Mac-in-the-box

desperanceHuge Box has just arrived from Amazon. In accordance with established custom & practice, I have not opened Huge Box. I will properly wait until the end of the working day and the return of my intended, that we may do it together.
Nevertheless, Mac is now inside Huge Box. He found a wriggle-space between the wrapping tapes. Whether he means to emerge before the end of the working day, I have no notion. Maybe we will tear it open and he will pop out to surprise us?
In other news, having spent all weekend being Weekend Man and mostly working in the garden, today I am being Domesticated Man, practising for househusbandry. Shopping and cooking and cleaning, mostly, in preparation for having people through the house all week - tho' I need also to buy a replacement alarm clock for Karen and a pair of button-down braces for me. We went to Victoria's last night for a final fitting; our clothes are still half pins and promises, but none the less. We are going to look gorgeous on Saturday.
