Thanks to an act of extraordinary generosity, Karen has a tricycle! She and I can go pedalling together! We have already done a lap of the quiet block, which was quite enough for me the first time out on my bike when it was new. We will build things up slowly, and who knows how far our rides may stretch? The farmers' market, the pub, visits to friends... Worlds and oysters, I tell you. Worlds and oysters.

In other news, I have moved the mouse closer to the computer and it is much more responsive. All this requires is that I re-remember how to use it left-handed. Happily, I've done it before.
