desperancecrushing the frantic penguins and slithering over the glistening floor that it and its kind had swept so evilly free of all litter.
It is of course entirely unfair, to grab half a sentence out of context and make with the pointy. But Lovecraft is just so ... Lovecraftian, you can do this almost anywhere; and it's the contextlessness that makes it so lovely. Penguins! Litter! Slithering!
