Kitchen diary recap
Nov. 20th, 2013 11:49 amIn the two and a half days I've been home, in between the koffing and the jetlag and the feeling kinda meh, I've made bread and sossidges and soup and stock, and a roast chicken dinner and a warm shrimp-and-asparagus salad and possibly more that I'm forgetting. I guess I'm home. (And I hope this keeps up; this is the kind of cooking I want to do, day in day out: hands-on and productive and good.)
Also, I seem to be compiling a list of big(-gish) ticket items that I want for my kitchen: from a Thermapen to a smoker to a sossidge-stuffer. It's good to have ambitions.
...Aaaand now we have guests for lunch. They're getting leftovers. Gotta run. 'Bye...
