Okay, so I couldn't actually keep out. Not altogether. I just slipped into the dining-room, and Mac is showing signs of wanting to play - in the sense of rearing up on his hind legs and batting at Barry where he was on the table peering down. And Barry ducked away. As wishwordssays, the dominance might be swinging that way. Too soon to tell, I suspect, but it is interesting. Which is why I want to watch it, tho' I'm sure I ought to leave them alone to let them work it out in private.

Also, I just noticed just how big Mac's paws are, in proportion. Maybe he'll simply bulk up to match them, because he is adolescent-lean at the moment; maybe he still has more growing to do. In which case, he'll be a big cat when he's done.

Oh, I am so glad things seem to be going well. It almost makes me want a cat again. I am looking forward to the return of the strange violet kittens that I cat sit for- they are due back from Florida in May.

Violet-tinged, anyway. They look like exotic wild beasts, only very small. They are kind of awesome, and I can never remeber the name of the breed. Now that I have a camera, pictures are a definate possibility...

Snerk. Maybe the evil Mac will simply annex Barry!'s exclamation mark and keep it for his own self. To tell truth, Barry's not being very exclamatory at the moment. I'm worried for his ego...
