Opportunities!

desperanceAs you know, every now and then I think about a food blog, in a seriously-committed kind of way.
It just struck me this morning, here is a perfect opportunity to practise, to see if I stand any chance of maintaining it on a regular basis. I could run a blog series here, An Alphabet of Eating (Observ'd in Inversion): a weekly entry documenting what I feed to friends on Wednesdays, working up the alphabet from Z. Which would, of course, stand for Zhug.
Coming about onto another tack: if I had a few hundred dollars to spend, should I have the bike thoroughly serviced (it needs a new saddle and new grips, and some serious attention to the gears, that much at least, for I am crap at maintenance); or buy a smoker; or buy an entry-level serious camera, a DSLR, with a view to taking better photos of my food, with half an eye on that eventual food blog?
