desperanceI ... am not doing well today, not well at all. Not so much the story this time, just everything that surrounds it, that other people call their life. Right now it feels like a broken frame to a blank canvas. Which is quite hard to handle, as it seems.
I did just spend an hour in the garden, deadheading roses and digging compost into the veg bed. Compost and worms. Lovely worms! If my old yard was a factory for generating compost, it seems that here my compost is a factory for generating worms. I hope they like the veggie bed as much. I'll go out and water 'em in in a bit, it's horrid dry at the moment.
Meanwhile, I am also baking bread. If all else fails, I can at least do that. That's got to count for something.
