Well, that changed
May. 8th, 2015 06:43 pmWhen I woke up this morning, I had 5,300 words of a story going nowhere. Now I have 3,500 words and a sense of shape, a pathway visible in the headlights. Unwriting: sometimes it's better than the other thing. It's certainly easier: those 1800 lost words constituted weeks of effort. Weeks, I tell you. Weeks.
In other news, I am suddenly unexpectedly craving a Varidesk, even though I have no idea whether I would actually get on with the idea of working on my feet. Just don't know. *shrug*
Also, the left-arrow key on my MS ergo keyboard has just frozen. That could be irritating. If it becomes an actual problem, then maybe I'll give up on these mere $50 keyboards and take the long-delayed plunge into Maltron. Now that they make black ones. Or maybe I'll just go on putting that off, because money.
Now I must go croon at my roses and water the veg.
