So I hid my slices of worktime nibbly salami under the keyboard, what time I slipped downstairs to refresh my glass of worktime wine.

That thump I heard downbelow? That was indeed the sound of Mac casting my keyboard to the floor, in order to get at the salami. Sigh. Please can I have stupider cats, please? I hate that feeling they're one step ahead of me all the time...

In other news: a cold? Just now, with a book to finish and public performances looming? Do. Not. Want.

Damn you, moral_vacuum! How dare you see through my thin disguise?! You're quite right, of course, it is not the cats at fault in this relationship (tho' it has to be said my sweet late girls would never have figured out the "it's under the keyboard" conundrum; they were utterly gorgeous, but not bright. Not bright at all. I miss that, y'know?).
