Discontent, and its inevitable consequence

The world is very full of bad people who are not getting in touch to offer me work, nor to express satisfaction (or indeed otherwise) with work I have already done; nor to send nor promise me much-needed money. Some of which is even owed to me, though most of it is only dreamed-of.

Hmmph. I have no recourse, really, but to shop.
