Um, that wasn't quite in the gameplan: that I would drop in on m'friends A & C on the way home from proofreading, to learn that A now has a definite diagnosis of prostate cancer, as of this morning.
Or was it? Maybe so. I did know he'd been in for a biopsy; I haven't dropped in for a while; the math is there to be done.
Whatever. I do know it wasn't in their gameplan. Lots of treatment options at the moment, dependent on further tests, but even so. Just and righteous God, I wish to protest...
