Aaand now I'm really scared

Today I have a slight but constant tingle in the tip of my left thumb.

Newcomers won't know it, but those who've been playing along for a while are intimately familiar with this: that one of the reasons I am so desperately in debt is that for years'n'years I've been paying off'n'on for serious treatment on my neck & spine, the prime symptom of which is pins & needles in my left hand.

It goes away, it comes back. In ever-decreasing periods.

This time it, um, hasn't been away very long. At all.

And yes, the pain I have in my neck & shoulder? Intimately related to the same problem.

Great god, but I could so have done without this.
