Well, that was marginally annoying.
Mar. 24th, 2014 05:14 pmSo last night my nice ergonomic keyboard was misbehaving, doing Weird Alternative Things. I was too tired & emotional to diagnose its problem, so I just plugged in the nasty original flat keyboard and closed everything out.
This morning? Ergo seemed okay, but I was only here for an hour before I went downtown with the Laptop of Utterable Delights and worked in the Bean Scene half the day.
Came home to a repeat of Weird Keyboarditis. Which I figured out to be a control-lock issue: every keystroke was interpreted as Ctrl-keystroke. With what results you may imagine.
As far as I'm aware, Ubuntu does not in fact have a control-lock combo. If it does, please don't tell me; you are fifty dollars too late.
*scowls at his nice new shiny ergo*
