It's casual not-yogi dinner tonight, and we seem to have ten people coming. Eep!
Any lists that may occur hereafter are strictly for my own benefit, and may be safely ignored.
Menu:
Chicken pie (leftover chicken with leeks, carrots, onions, mushrooms, etc, under a crust)
Chaz'z Champ (russet mash with buttermilk and green onions)
Roasties (Yukon Gold, quartered, not peeled, roast in olive oil and salt)
Buttered savoy cabbage
Apple & pear crumble, with pouring cream
Make half a batch of knish dough for the pie
Make pie filling
Open wine
Peel, slice & spice fruits
Mix crumble
Infuse buttermilk with spirit of green onion
Shred cabbages
Assemble pie
Assemble crumble
Bake russets
Bake pie
Roast roasties
Bake crumble
Wilt cabbage in olive oil and butter
Mash russets
