desperance...half an hour in the dentist's chair, with an unexpected bill to match. An old structure torn down, a new one ordered to replace it. Sigh. I hate my teeth.
On the other hand, I have upgraded my word processor, which I think may have sorted out its collywobbles. And I have read through the last hundred pages of novel-the-first in this mad month of revisions, and I'm halfway through transposing scribbles-on-text to the computer draft. I quite like this one; but then, I haven't read it for a year. 'Tis often thus. Distance makes the heart grow fonder. So does others' approval.
Also, I have bought a new cap. Which cost less than 10% of the dentist's bill, so why not?
