Well, that's that
Jan. 9th, 2008 06:59 pmAt half-past ten this morning, I went into town with the last 160 pages - say fifty thousand words - of the never-ending novel in typescript, and a purse full of money.
By the time I came home at half five, I had spent all my money - on coffee and pastries and sushi and miso soup and beer, since you ask - and scribbled on every single one of those pages. So that's that part of the process finished, and now I just have to translate all these scribbles into keyboardings and we'll be done.
In my absence, of course, they have tried (I think) to deliver the Laptop of Heavenly Perfection. Sigh.
