...just to cheer everyone up, m'friend'n'colleague Sean O'Brien won the T S Eliot Prize. I heard about it on the radio at squeak! hours this morning; which is not the first time I have been drowsed to consciousness by his gravelly tones accepting praise (he is a multiple prizewinner of everything, is Sean), but it's always a pleasure.

That thing someone said, about how it's not enough to be successful, one's friends must also fail? I view myself as that friend, failing all over...
