Yes. The cats will pinch a sausage out of the frying-pan, while it's actually sizzling. I'm not sure why I ever doubted it. I'm not actually sure if I ever doubted it, I think I was just waiting for it to happen in order to be furious and frustrated and such.

So any kind of cake or cookie or candy was at risk, but I didn't expect to have to guard the gingersnaps from him, the old dear.

Pygmy goats like to rub up against your legs and have their backs petted and their chins scratched, too... is he supposed to be a Manx, or does he have a long tail? That would be the critical difference, since goats are good at jumping and climbing, but none of them have long tails afaik!

Mac has the longest tail I've ever known on a cat; when he's startled, it's positively lemur-like. I think he was spooked by the washing machine this afternoon; he came out of the kitchen all bottle-brush, and I couldn't see anything else that might have triggered him. Besides, he has a known affinity for white goods, but they don't usually make sudden swooshing noises at him...

Omnivorous, long-tailed, extraordinary dexterity - he's not feline, he's a primate!
