Oy you, Chaz - finish the bloody play. Just do it. This week. It may indeed be crap, but getting scared & running away won't make it any better, and you have books to write thereafter. It's in the way.

Let the characters talk and take whatever tangents they want, at least in the beginnining. A red pen is a beautiful thing, especially in a playscript.

Frankie says 'Relax'. Close your eyes, watch your characters play out the story and just write down what they say and do.

You can't write with your eyes closed? Okay, metaphorically close your eyes. Trust yourself and your instincts.

Red pens? Possibly the best thing since sliced bread. No, better than sliced bread, much better.
