I thought Mac was behaving more wildly evil even than usual. The reason? He is full of chocolate, for he has eaten my Kitkat bar.

He is dashing and diving all over the house, pouncing and biting and utterly bonkers. Squawking, too. "What was that? Look at that, Barry! Die, Barry! Eek!"

Barry is hiding in discreet corners.

Me, I am leaving home.

*exits, pursued by a cat*

ETA: didn't get very far, for 'tis rainy and wet and I don't feel utterly well. Mac still bonkers. It's quite funny, tho', 'cos he chases Barry and Baz dives into a defensible zone and Mac hurtles after and knocks something over - which brings them both to a sudden halt and a mutual investigation, "oh look, that falls over! It breaks! Who knew...?"

...And then they remember where they were, and there is more chasing and hiding and so forth.

Cats should not eat choklit, for it is bad for them. It's actually even worse for them than it is for dogs, for the little sweethearts are (surprise!) more sensitive to theobromine. However, they're less likely to eat it, as they apparently can't taste sweetness.

Ahem.

Mac? Mac devours chocolate like there's no tomorrow. If he had his way, there wouldn't be. I keep it mostly under lock and key, but every now and then he snatches something, for he is made of evil.

Mac seems to be some kind of supercat. How did he unwrap the KitKat?

...Actually, with a name like that, he probably thought it was intended for him.

Unwrap it? Pfui. He sneers at thumbs, he who has teeth of a lovely white sharpness (for the moment: not if he keeps up this kind of behaviour, he won't). He bites and rips and rends at packaging.

Oh, and unzips zips in the regular fashion, if you should happen to leave chocolate (or mushrooms, or anything else that takes his fancy) in your bag. He haz a noze, and he noze how to uze it.

Believe me there is nothing so odd that some cat somewhere we eat it.

Our Bob (see below!) likes chinese take-away, porridge, vegetables not wrapped in meat. Oh yes and raw rabbit: http://bookzombie.livejournal.com/116257.html

Bob was behaving oddly the other night. I had a cup of an aniseedy green tea that we bought in the 'States and slopped a bit on the floor by the side of the bed (I'm clumsy like that).

I don't know exactly what was in it, but to Bob it was like catnip! He rubbed his face in it, rolled in it, purred.

He is a strange animal...

I noticed the cats having the occasional moment where they forgot they don't like each other and were in the middle of a fight, like "look, a fly, let's catch it!".

I love my cat but she is very sedate compared to the boys. I miss them! I think if you tried to amuse Chloe with a laser pen she'd give you a disgusted look and just go back to sleep.
