One of the interesting factors in being meteorologically marooned in one's house: one's dinner is necessarily drawn from what's available.

So, then. Baby octopus in squid-ink spaghetti it is, then...

This week I learned that neurons in humans and most other creatures are too small to study properly, but giant squid uniquely have big thick ones that have been researched a lot. I kind of worry that most of what we think we know about our brains might actually only apply to something you'd count as a flavouring for pasta.

You definitely have a more interestingly stocked kitchen than most, my idea of available emergency foods usually involves eggs or potatoes... If the octopus starts spelling out messages with the ink, btw, panic :)
