Flycon!

I will be participating in Flycon this weekend. For those who know not, it's a con-by-internet: no hotel bills, no travel chaos. Alas, the late-night bar conversations may be hard to organise cross-continent and cross-airwave, but we'll do our best.

At present I have the first author chat of the con - Friday 1.30pm my time, Saturday 12.30am Sydney time, other times to be worked out pro rata - and a panel on Hard-Boiled Fantasy, 1pm Sunday, currently with Andrew McKiernan. I was surprised to see that you're doing the Hardboiled Fantasy panel when I thought I was the lone panelist. Then I noticed that they've listed it twice.

I'd thought it was a pretty interesting idea for a panel, but when no other names were added to mine, I surreptitiously raised my arm and sniffed. Had I driven everyone away? I'm glad it's not the case.

Of course, I might have realized this days ago if I'd actually *read* the schedule instead of just searching the page for my name...

It looks like Harry has been added in, so there is now only one panel with the 3 of us together. Pleased to meet you both and I'm really looking forward to a great panel. No idea what I'm going to say though!
