Oooh! I don't follow graphic novels that much - most of what I read is due to gmh (who do you think dumped Alice in Sunderland in front of me) but yay Bryan!
Hadn't come across Metronome before but the combination of looking at it and the rec of someone with good taste means I'm going to have to take a peek. That Bryan is the author is just a bonus.
Heh. The only untrue post I have yet posted in a blog was when I claimed to have run into Véronique in the Whipple Museum (http://desperance.livejournal.com/2006/11/08/). Bad Chaz! (We were having a secret campaign to launch her into the world.) (And that page was a Googlewhack - googling "Véronique Tanaka" and "Whipple Museum" - until now. That of course is the trouble with reporting Googlewhacks on the internet, that they instantly lost that cherishable status...)
Clever. I suppose a writer/artist(musician/dancer/mime/etc) has to do what they can to promote their work these days. And Bryan's so talented, it's no surprise he could pull off something like this. I wonder what made him tip his hand.
