Where's Chaz?
Oct. 18th, 2009 01:43 pmI am (famously) no good at promo; but it has been gently impressed upon me that I ought perhaps to advertise my upcoming whereabouts, a little less vaguely than I have.
Oh, all right, then.
On Saturday 24th inst, I'll be at Forbidden Planet in Bristol from 1pm, with various colleagues from The Write Fantastic. Talking, signing, you know the sort of thing.
Wednesday 28th, there's a mass signing at Borderlands in San Francisco, from 6.30pm; I'll be there, with Kari Sperring and Kate Elliott and a whole host of other writers, yay.
And Thursday through Sunday, I'll be at WFC in San Jose.
My programming detail:
Saturday, 4pm, What Makes a Good Monster
From Dracula through Tolkien's Ring Wraiths to Pennywise the Clown, the monsters of horror and fantasy are often the most iconic element of a story. What makes for a monster that will resonate with the reader and why are they so memorable? Chaz Brenchley, Simon Clark, Paula Guran, Sarah Jane Pinborough, Dan Wells
I firmly expect to find some of you at some of these venues; don't let me down...
