My house is falling down

desperanceWell, all right - not the whole house. The staircase seems quite sound...
But the bathroom? Eek. It's not just that the board-ends beneath the bath are rotten; so is the beam they stand on.
I discovered this by dint of putting my hand into the hole I have just discovered, between the wall and the crumbling end-of-rotting-board.
There's a hole in my bathroom, dear internets. And a whole lot of trouble underneath.
In five days' time, I should be in an airport, waiting to run away. This is good.
I'll think about it when I get back.
