desperanceBarry has decided that this is the ideal time to be a fusscat: to sit on my knee and butt his head against my typing hands, lick sticky marmalade residues off my fingers*, generally demand all the attention that there is or can be.
Mac has scheduled this day for Being As Annoying As He Can Be, to both of us, which is - well. Very Annoying Indeed.
Me, I seem to have concluded that today was the perfect day to shop for household goods. That's for the house that I am about to leave empty for a month, on the day when I have so very much else and more urgent to be doing.
Still'n'all. I have, as aforementioned, coffee'n'bun. I have devilled kidneys and mushrooms on toast for a late lunch. I have wine for later yet, smoked haddock for kedgeree after that. [I posted my kedgeree recipes so long ago, they predate my LJ entirely; you will find them on my original website blog, here and here. Hee. I think the blog was more solemn, in those days. I R Sirius Riter...] Fudz-wise, I am provided. I need not leave the house again today.
