desperanceI don't wanna write a book. I wanna go on playing house; it takes all the pressure off.
But! Having realised over the weekend that the soup is not only savable but crucial, what did I find on my shelf but The Victory Cookery Book? Authentic WW2 recipes! For soup! It's going to be so useful...
Also, a wartime brochure of standard military terms in Malay. I may have to import someone from the colonies, just to make use of it.
And now I must head off to town with the baby laptop in the bag, making-believe that I am actually going to do some work, when really I'm just thinking about a new breadbin...
