desperance- he's sitting on me. At the desk, all hunkered down in my lap and purring. This is the first time. Downstairs, watching telly, maybe half an hour now and then; up here, not. I'm moved. I have put all thoughts of breakfast out of my head.
A cynic suggests that it's just the colder weather, but I spurn all such thoughts; there are warmer places in this house than my lap provides. He has a chair in the angle of two radiators, if simple heat is the prerequisite. This is an important day.
