desperanceI? Have just figured out why I need to go shopping. I was sitting here trying to remember what I'm short of, and coming up with nothing; but I did know that I needed to go, and now I know why.
It's because my story has hit a transition-point, and I have no idea what the next scene is. Therefore I need to go walk across the moors and figure it out; and this is the process that we call "going to the supermarket", because I do like to have a goal in view. I'll buy stuff while I'm there, to be sure; but - like travelling, like books, like life - it's really all about the journey.
