Also, this evening I have been Cooking Man. I have made confit of pork (for a later date). I have made curried pumpkin and mushroom soup (for a later date). I have boiled a small ham and made a cream-and-mushroom sauce to accompany, with roasted vegetables (for tonight's date).

Can't you just tell that I'm working?

I've spent so much time cat-vacuuming online in the last couple of days that I suspect I'm about to have an outbreak of finding *housework* appealing. Alas, major cooking is currently out, as I've been in Eating With A Spoon mode after the dental work on Wednesday, and tonight is pub night anyway. So I might actually have to remember how to operate the hoover.
