Overnight I have formed a theory, which is mine: which says that the elevation of Pocatello (4,462 ft) means that there is less atmosphere above our heads to diffract, disperse or deflect the harmful rays of the sun. Which would be why I am kinda pink and rather sore this morning, after significantly less exposure to the sun than I would have enjoyed in California without a second thought.
