desperanceI was just in the garden, trying to think about stuffs, and this little hummingbird came on a mission to prevent me. A totally successful mission, need I say? Stuffs remain unthunk.
He hung in the air not a yard away, shifting position with an audible snap! of his wings, like a mechanical artefact clicking into an altered state. Static as a divorcement of time, each separated moment. I think he was checking out the chillies and tomatoes, drawn by flares of scarlet, hoping for nectar. Sorry, little dude. Come back. Can haz nasturtiums?
