Well, that was a whole lot of no fun
Feb. 5th, 2013 02:35 pmAfter the fun was over, after the yogis had gone, yesterday I sat up until 1am in order to do the thing that I like least in all the world, and make a phone call to a financial institution to which I am in debt.
I got to bed at 2.45am. That was an hour and forty minutes on the phone. You can just imagine how very much I did not like that.
Was it worthwhile? Don't know yet. Find out tomorrow, one way or, y'know. The other.
Also I forgot to ask if the nice woman I was talking to could possibly give me an e-mail address, to save having to do this-all again another day. *kicks self*
Also, I am still dithering over whether to make a formal complaint about the whole impossibility-to-communicate thing that led me to this dreadful resort. I guess tomorrow's outcome may have an influence on that.
Also also, today we had dentistry. I dunno: wasn't life meant to be all foie gras and trumpets, or something? Or at least beer and skittles. Cakes and ale. Something. *is severely disappointed by life*
Meantime my curing salts have left Buffalo, NY and are currently passing through Hodgkins, IL. Isn't that a disease? Just as well they're curing salts.
