Forking blood and flowers
Mar. 29th, 2013 01:45 pmIn other news, Karen's phone-meeting is running later than expected, so lunch is delayed. I thought I would pass the idle time in the garden. So far it has cost me a runnel of blood and a garden fork, but I have planted a score of nasturtium seeds, which if this year is like last year should give us flowers through to Christmas. Having said that, of course there will be a late hard frost as soon as they show their heads, and they will die off without a single bloom, and I will have bled and b0rked my fork for nothing, but hey-ho. I will still love my garden.
