I seem to have resumed my former wont - Do Not Wont! - of waking in the early-early and lying stressing for an hour before rising still too early (and still not getting much done). I had thought - wouldn't you have thought? - that once the house was gone, stress-levels would relax and so might I. But no, apparently: I just found substitute-stressors. At least they're not five thousand miles away, but even so. Stressy Chaz is stressy.

Meanwhile, the things I need to be getting done, in the approximate order of their intended happening:

proofreading The Garden for Lethe Press, while writing a short story for jemck;

proofing and preparing the text of Rotten Row, while doing all the other admin stuff to achieve publication with BVC next month;

scanning, OCRing and proofing the texts of two dozen short stories, for two separate mooted collections;

restoring and proofing the texts of all six Outremer books, for BVC publication in the fall.

Oh, and writing two novels and one novella, all for Steampunk!Mars, all on spec.

It's a Balrog. And I am already weary. *leans heavily on staff*
