A veritable feather upon the nose

I have new glasses. Indeed, I have two pairs of new glasses: one for life, and one for reading. The optician was sure that my reading glasses would be what I wanted for computer work, but I was fairly sure that he was wrong, and I was right: I sit just too far away both from the desktop monitor and the laptop screen, so the reading glasses don't cut in and the distance glasses don't find it quite far enough away. But that's okay, I can tweak them down my nose a bit and we're fine.
In other news, apparently I had a policy at one time of putting things in tupperware into the freezer all unlabelled. I've just found a shelfful. Aurgh: I must only have done it to frustrate future-me, and future-me is duly frustrated. I may institute a new policy of throwing out anything unlabelled and unidentifiable at sight. It would at least have the virtue of generating a whole lot of space in the freezer. And empty tupperwares, for the better filling of same. Meantime I am hesitantly defrosting something, in vague hopes that it might possibly be what I'm looking for. Or not.
