Half a poem is better than unread
Sep. 22nd, 2013 02:34 pmI dunno. I was watching the match before the match I was there for, and it all seemed very relevant and important for a while, that I was doing that and thinking about the doing of it in a recursive kind of way. Also, I was drinking beer. This is before they told me that I wasn't allowed to drink beer at the hockey game. Who knew?
Also, in retrospect I really have no idea where this was going, but I do know it's only halfway there. I have another match to watch this evening. I'll take a pen.
TOURNAMENT
We who are waiting the next game
we know this:
that life is what you make it
that it is never a rehearsal
but still, we are waiting the next game
in the meantime
supportive, unresolved
rooting almost at random:
"I like the green-and-gold better than the powder blue;
those are my boys."
