The play's the thing

desperanceOoh, I am all behind with my LJ, both posting and reading others' posts. As I am all behind too with writing anything. This is because at the moment I am all about the theatre. Darlings. Yesterday I was eight hours at rehearsals, and then straight to the ballet after (mmm - Rambert!); today I am up and scrubbed and caffeinated and off, back to the play for a ten o'clock call and God only knows when I get away tonight.

Meanwhile, Mighty Hunter is pursuing the first butterfly of spring. The idiot object (butterfly) either hatched inside the house or found a crack to wriggle through; the other idiot object is determined to slaughter the evil thing. I have twelve-foot ceilings, where the butterfly is sensibly hangin' out. Barry can't jump twelve feet; he only thinks he can. I have plucked him off various bookshelves, cooker hoods, etc, and cast him back to earth, but he has stubbornness and focus. I am going out now, and God only knows what I will come back to...
